How do I connect with my partner?
After signing in, tap "Create an invite" to generate a unique 8-character code. Share it with your partner — once they enter it in their app, you're connected.
My partner entered the code but we're not connected. What do I do?
Make sure the code is entered exactly as shown (it's not case-sensitive). Codes expire after they've been used. If there's an issue, you can generate a new one from the pairing screen.
Can I use Mappy without a partner?
You need to be paired with a partner to use most features. Once paired, both of you share the same timeline, wishlist, and letters.
What's the difference between a Date and a Trip?
Dates are for single-day outings — a dinner, a hike, a coffee. Trips are for multi-day adventures with a start and end date.
How do I add photos to a date or trip?
When creating or editing a date/trip, tap "Add photos" inside any highlight. Free accounts can add 1 photo per highlight. Premium accounts can add up to 10.
Can I edit a date after saving it?
Yes — open the date from your timeline and tap the edit icon in the top right.
